A Season to Remember: The RGV Red Crowns’ First Chapter

As our inaugural season comes to a close, we can’t help but reflect with immense pride and gratitude on everything we accomplished together, both on and off the field.

When we launched the RGV Red Crowns, we had two clear goals: to create real opportunities for local athletes and to represent the Rio Grande Valley with the pride and passion it deserves. This year, we did exactly that.

On the field, our players put the Valley on the map in a big way. We shocked the conference by defeating the 9th-ranked team in the country and battled all the way to the final match with a playoff spot on the line. This was more than just soccer; it was proof that talent from the Valley belongs on any stage.

Off the field, we closed our season with a special friendly against FC Dallas, a match that wasn’t just about the game, but about giving back. Part of the proceeds from that match were donated to support the victims of the devastating Kerr County flood. Community is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re grateful to stand with our neighbors when they need it most.
